What should we wear and bring along?

Consult with a photographer: It is always best to consult with the photographer first about what kind of photos you wish to achieve. The photographer can help you in deciding what clothes might be best to wear and bring for that style shoot.

Bring favourite clothes: Parents looking to have a casual shoot in the studio or on location should dress the children in their favourite outfit or something colourful and fun. Colour stands out great in photos and offers a good contrast.

In the studio we are usually shooting on a white or black backdrop so avoid white clothing for a white background, etc. At the beach or on location almost anything goes.

Babies: It is a good idea to have cute pants or shorts to cover napies. Also, great colourful hats are always a fun addition to a nude baby. We have a few here to borrow.

Costumes and Props: Another fun option is costumes and props. We do have a collection of fairy costumes, wands, chinese umbrellas, stuffed animals, etc. You are welcome to add any of these to a studio shoot. You can also bring your own!!

We provide a private change area as well as mirrors and some make up. If you prefer to use your own make up and hair brush please bring along.

Snacks: You may also want to provide snacks for your child as they may get hungry if we do more than one location. We do provide fresh brewed late' and filtered water.

  1. How long does the photo session last?
  2. What should we wear and bring along?
  3. What do I need to know about the photography and prints?
  4. How does the payment work? What types?
